Staff Present:              Planning Director Kevin Byrd and Administrative Assistant Peggy Roberts

 

Others Present:           Dan and Lindia Massey, Ron DeSimone, Scott Campbell, Dean Tomlinson, Connie Dennis, Garrett Anderson

 

Meeting Called to Order

Chairman Ring called the meeting to order at 5:06 p.m. on April 14, 2005 in the Town Hall Boardroom.

 

Approval or Correction of Minutes:              February 10, 2005

                                                                        February 17, 2005

                                                                        February 24, 2005

                                                                        March 10, 2005

                                                                        March 11, 2005

 

Chairman Ring had questions about the February 10, 2005 to address with the clerk.

 

MR. DUBUKE MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE THE MINUTES PRESENTED OTHER THAN THE FEBRUARY 10, 2005 SET.

MR. PINTER SECONDED THE MOTION.

MOTION CARRIED.

 

Oath of Office

Chairman Ring administered the oath of office to Ron DeSimone (ETJ member), Connie Dennis, and Garrett Anderson.

 

Appeal of Code Enforcement Officer: Steve Ledford Operator of Teague’s Grocery and Gas

The issue was tabled.

 

Brad Cox: Request for Special Exception: Camping Cabins in C2 District

After reviewing the information, the following motion was made.

 

MR. WIGHT MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE THE SPECIAL EXCEPTION.

MR. PINTER SECONDED THE MOTION.

MOTION CARRIED.

 

Connie Frick & Lynn Satterfield: Request Setback Variance; Stoney Ridge

Mr. and Mrs. Frick: Request for Setback Variance: Stoney Ridge

Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy: Request for Setback Variance: Stoney Ridge

 

Chairman Ring recommended that Ms. Frick and Satterfield contact the association to see if they will give them additional footage.

 

The Stoney Ridge Homeowners Association wants to work with the Zoning Board and Planning Director to resolve the problems encountered by all the residents in the area.

 

The Zoning Board and Planning Director will research their options.

 

MR. PINTER MADE A MOTION TO TABLE THE STONEY RIDGE RESIDENT’S REQUEST UNTIL THE NEXT MEETING.

MR. DEBUKE SECONDED THE MOTION.

MOTION CARRIED.
