MINUTES
Members Present: Chairman Pat Tilley, Richard Pierce, and Jerry Zerbock Brenda O’Keefe, Billy Case, and Billy Brede
Staff Present: Manager Bob Shepherd, Peggy Roberts and Kevin Byrd

Meeting Called to Order
Chairman Tilley called the meeting to order at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday April 6, 2005 in the Town Hall Boardroom.
Approval or Correction of Minutes: November 9, 2004
MR. BREDE MADE A
MOTION TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF NOVEMBER 9, 2005 AS PRESENTED.
MR. ZERBOCK
SECONDED THE MOTION.
MOTION CARRIED.
Recommendation to the Aldermen: Rezoning Request: Twin
Brook Resort
The property owners of Twin Brook Resort are requesting the area to be rezoned from Residential 2 to Commercial 1. The resort has operated as a resort since being established in the early 1950’s.
Mr. Byrd recommended the rezoning due to the use being commercial in nature.

BREDE MADE A MOTION TO RECOMMEND THE REZONING TO THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN AND THAT
A PUBLIC HEARING BE SET FOR THE PURPOSE OF CHANGING THE ZONING OF TWIN BROOK
RESORT FROM RESIDENT 2 TO COMMERCIAL 1.

SECONDED THE MOTION.
MOTION CARRIED.
Review of Subdivision Ordinance Amendments
The Planning Board and Planning Director have reviewed and amended the Subdivision Ordinance, section by section. Input from the developers within the community has been encouraged throughout the process.
Mr. Case recommended the subdivision ordinance be presented as amended. Mr. Zerbock and Mr. Brede agreed. Mr. Pierce would like to see the Planning Board review and bring the Land Recreation Dedication (green space) back before Council.
A workshop was set for noon on April 18, 2005.
Mr. Zerbock left the meeting at 3:35 p.m.
Other Business
It is the consensus that Bylaws be adopted and procedures established for staff to follow prior to going before the Board of Aldermen.
There being no further business to discuss, the meeting adjourned at 3:50 p.m...
